What is your favorite project and why?

Terra Cotta Repairs at 8 West Monroe in Chicago for the Metropolis Condominium Association with Ward Contracting and Building Restoration.  This project included an overall repair to the exterior walls which included tuckpointing, sealant replacement, limited terra cotta replacement with new GFRC, and terra cotta patching.  The time that went into documenting the existing terra cotta units, identifying, and mapping necessary replacement, comparing color and finish samples, etc. made this a very satisfying project to observe from initial evaluation through completion.

Why do you like working at KGH?

At KGH we encounter a lot of unique issues that require detail-oriented problem solving.  Each project is different, requiring us to look at issues from a different perspective each time.
