Jim Gecan

Principal

KGH Team Member Since 2011

What has been your favorite project to work on?

I have enjoyed working on projects with wood as a structural material such as heavy timber structures and historic light-framing buildings. These projects often require research of unusual construction detailing, which allows for continual learning.

Why do you like working at KGH?

I enjoy being a part of the architectural history of the City of Chicago. Working on existing buildings extends their life and allows them to be enjoyed presently and into the future.
