Exterior Wall Repairs

The 1700 East 56th Street condominium building, constructed circa 1968, is a 39-story residential tower with a one-story penthouse. The building’s structural system consists of a conventionally reinforced concrete frame, including columns, beams, and slabs, with concrete spandrel panels located between columns. Decorative concrete reveals and form holes are incorporated into the vertical wall surfaces.

The exterior facade features aluminum window systems installed between columns and slab edges, supported by a concrete knee wall and terminated with a curved concrete sill.

Exterior Wall Repairs include:

  • Concrete crack repair and patching

  • Sealant replacement at joints and penetrations

  • Full (100%) painting of exposed concrete surfaces
